RW Stearns Inc. was founded in 1984, and initially provided research-based Recruiting & Talent Acquisition solutions to companies ranging from emerging startups to those in the Fortune 1000. These solutions were designed to meet the demands of hyper-competitive industries, where talent does not always land on your doorstep. The concept of identifying passive candidates from competitive environments became a must-have tool for any talent acquisition organization.

Over time, other HR functions began to realize the importance of utilizing primary research. Our clients began to utilize our capabilities for Succession Planning, Workforce Analytics and Talent Mapping.
